- old man: the young man up front said gratuity is included.
- me: i apologize, sir. the gratuity is not included on any of our meal plans.
- old man: what am i paying for?
- me: the two glasses of wine are not included on the meal plan and if you’d like to leave a tip you can write it in on that line there.
- om: but the man said it was included.
- me: sir, i apologize but he was mistaken. the issue of gratuity is up to you. you may decide accordingly.
